Advisory Committee

An Advisory Committee has been established to provide expertise and guidance in the development of this significant cultural facility. The Committee operates in a project advisory capacity. Advice is given to the Council and where appropriate to the Project Control Group and the Design Review Panel through the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre Director/Project Manager.

The Committee comprises both community members from the cultural and business communities, sufficient to ensure diversity of opinion and expertise, as well as members from key regional organisations with specialist expertise.

The Katoomba Library Technical Advisory Panel is being established to provide advice into the concept development, design and construction of the Katoomba Library component of the Cultural Centre and Library development project. The new library will be state of the art design, providing modern library services that will meet the needs of the community over future decades.
